Somno Lab’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

1. Data Accessed

Somno Lab accesses your Google Health data only with explicit authorization via the following scopes:

fitness.sleep.read: To analyze sleep cycles and patterns.
fitness.heart_rate.read: To monitor resting heart rate for recovery insights.
fitness.activity.read: To correlate metabolic energy expenditure with sleep quality.

2. Data Usage

We process your data exclusively for:

Generating personalized sleep lab reports and biometric visualizations.
Synthesizing de-identified metrics via Google Gemini AI for health recommendations.
Local session-based historical trend analysis.

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or profiling.

3. Data Storage & Security

Somno Lab utilizes a zero-backend architecture:

No health data is ever transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Data is temporarily cached in your browser's sessionStorage.
All synchronized data is purged immediately upon logout or tab closure.

4. Data Sharing

We never sell or share your personal health data with third parties for commercial purposes.

5. User Rights

You may revoke Somno Lab’s access at any time via your Google Account Permissions.
